Completed her graduation and post-graduation in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics from Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai in 1989. She has done extensive work in myofunctional appliances and straight wire technique. She has been very enthusiastic about absorbing the latest technologies in the field of orthodontics and has several achievements to her credit.
• Attended a course on MBT system by Dr Bennet in 2003
• Attended a course on pre-adjusted appliance by Dr Varun Kalha
• Presented a paper on early orthodontic treatment and orthoesthetics
• Published a paper on treatment of class-3 malocclusion and deciduous dentition

Completed his graduation in 2004 from government dental college, Ahmedabad.
He remained the Hon. Secretary of the IDA (Ahmedabad branch) for 3 years. He accomplished advanced training in the science of Crown and Bridge, whereby he specialized in the art of smile correction through metal-free ceramic crowns and veneers.
His keen interest in dental implants and a belief in their excellent capacity to replace the missing teeth drove him to obtain certification in the superior dental implant systems. Apart from a dental care provider, he is responsible for the clinic’s comprehensive treatment planning, coordinating specialist care, dictating appropriate staffing, monitoring office marketing, setting inventory controls and overseeing daily operations of the facility.

She is handling a private practice since 1987, with special emphasis on Endodontics and Aesthetics.
She obtained BDS degree from Nair Hospital Dental College, Bombay in 1986 with a gold medal in Orthodontia and highest percentage in two subjects - Conservative and Restorative Dentistry and Periodontia.

Her other achievements include PG Certification in Aesthetic Dentistry - Baylor College of Dentistry, USA (1995); PG Certification in Endodontics - Continuing Education Centers of America (1997); and a certified user for laboratory fabrication of fiber reinforced polymer ceramic restorations.

Completed her graduation in 2004, and in order to gain a rich clinical experience, she worked in private dental clinic for 3 years.
She is now an expert in root canal and preventive children dentistry. She is also trained in laser dentistry for non- invasive and painless dental procedure. With the aim of providing high standard oral healthcare, she constantly keeps herself updated on newer advances by attending CE programs on regular basis.
While working at MOHA, she has conducted many dental checkup campaigns at Ahmedabad schools for increasing awareness about dental care, to stop dental decay and to develop a trusting relationship between the children and dentistry.

She manages the Periodontia Department at MOHA. She is a specialist in gum surgeries, bone grafts, mobile teeth solutions and periodontal plastic surgeries. She completed her graduation and post-graduation in Periodontia from Government Dental College, Ahmedabad in 2006..

She has presented numerous scientific papers at national and international conferences and has received an award for the best paper presentation at 30th national IPS conference held at Pune in 2006. She is pursuing her academic interest as a senior lecturer with Ahmedabad Dental College and Hospital.

She is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and has been working in the field of oral surgery for 15 years. She completed her BDS and MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1994 from Govt. Dental College and Hospital, Ahmedabad.

We feel fortunate to have Dr Vyas in the MOHA team since 2002. She is also a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to many dental hospitals in Ahmedabad. She is committed to MOHA for rendering quality services by continually updating her skills and treatment techniques in order to provide result-oriented and pain-free dental care to patients.

Dr. Applu has completed her graduation from D. Y. Patil Dental College, Navi Mumbai.

She has taken a keen interest in the extra curri-cular activities at college level and has been in the students committee of her college. She has been part of the core organizing committee of various college and university level functions particularly the scientific fest in 2009 and various other CDE programs. Her experience and dynamic personality helps us in organising various CDE programs and in man management at our centre.

She has interests in root canal treatment and cosmetology and is further taking keen intersts in learning more about the two fields to keep herself updated with recent advances.
